Privlaka kayak day tour will take you to the islet of Virić. You will paddle in a kayak across the sea and admire the view of the bridge that connects Vir and Privlaka, dive with underwater scooter to the remains of a historical building and enjoy shallow sea of a sandy beach on the other side of the island.

ABOUT DESTINATION:

Privlaka is a sandy peninsula that is 7 km long and 4 km wide. It is situated north from the city of Zadar and it is a true oasis of sandy beaches with shallow and clean sea. Privlaka was first mentioned in 13th century and for generations it was associated with the sea, seafaring and fishing. Famous „Sabunjari“ from Privlaka are men who were known for their hard work of excavating the sand from the sea which they then carried on shoulders to the wooden boats. For that reason many restaurants, tourist facilities and sport clubs nowadays are called “sabun” or “sabunjari”.

Privlaka kayak night tour starts from Kuline beach in Privlaka. You can reach the location on foot, bike or with the car as there is a parking lot with the public toilet.
For this tour are used double kayaks that are equipped with comfortable seats, paddles, safety vest and waterproof bag for you belongings.
Before this tour starts, the guide will give you all the necessary equipment and he will explain what the tour will look like.
You will paddle to the nearby island of Virić where you will see the remains of a historic building hidden underwater. You can dive with underwater scooter to the remains and the guide will explain more about this mysterious site. Children, as well as adults, will be thrilled when they discover an interesting underwater world.
The second stop is on the west side of the islet on a shallow sandy beach, ideal for small children and the local game “picigin”.
This tour is unique because of the historical facts that abound in this area, but also because of the opportunity to get to know the world below the sea surface by diving with underwater scooters.
The tour lasts 2 hours, after which you will return to beach from which you started.

Children (4 – 12 years old) pay 20,00 EUR  (150.69 HRK) and the tour is free for children 0-3 years old
