Overview

Feel real adrenalin rush and at the same time experience magnificent Čikola canyon. This attractive zipline is 1.4 km long and has three separate lines on which you will descend down a steel rope at the speed of 70 km/h from one side of the canyon to the other.

SITES AND ATTRACTIONS:

The canyon of the river Čikola is streching from the town of Drniš to the basin where Čikola river meets with Krka river and national park. Since 1967 entire canyon and river’s flow is protected as a significant natural landscape. Čikola river is 46 km long and it is the longest tributary of Krka. During summer the river dries up completely, while in the winter fast river flows through a canyon that is occasionally 130 m high. Traces of the human presence that were found here date from the Late Paleolithic, around 18,000 BC.

TOUR PLAN:
Duration: 1 hour

In the canyon of the river Čikola, instructors will welcome you at the meeting point and take you to the platform from which you will start ziplining. Instructors will help you to put on safety equipment and explain safety instructions (how to start, brake etc.). After that, you will embark on a zipline adventure. The zipline is 1.4 km long in total and consists of 3 wires that are 250, 500 and 650 m long. The canyon in which you will zipline is in some places 120 m high, and the maximum speed at which you will descend is up to 70 km/h.
Don’t think too much and book now this adrenaline boost that will provide you with an hour of excitement that you will find hard to beat.

What you will do

Before the zipline

The instructors will help you to put on the safety equipment and then explain the rules of conduct and other safety instructions (braking etc.). Then the instructors will walk you to the platform from which you will start the zipline.
