ABOUT DESTINATION:
Nin is a town situated north of Zadar whose old town lays on a tiny island connected by bridges to the mainland and it is surrounded by beautiful sandy lagoons. In Nin salt has been produced for 1500 years and it is the only saltwork on the Adriatic coast to have BIO-certificate which means that the salt is produced organically and harvested by human hands.
Kraljevski vinogradi (Royal Vineyards) are vineyards situated on a hill above Petrčane, a coastal town situated 12 km from Zadar. The history of the Royal Vineyards begins with the Croatian King Peter Krešimir IV, who donated this land to the Benedictine monastery in Zadar in 1066. Nowadays the vinery is focused on limited production of premium wines from the original Dalmatian grape varieties.
