A trip by taxi boat is a great opportunity to visit nearby places such as Ošljak, Preko and Galevac, which will provide you with an oasis of peace, an opportunity to get to know the history of the islands and to swim on 3 different beaches in one day.

ABOUT DESTINATION:

The island of Ošljak is an excellent example of traditional Mediterranean architecture, which with only 29 inhabitants and an area of ​​0.39 km² gives a much more intimate, quieter atmosphere. It is located only 15 minutes from Zadar and is the smallest inhabited island in the Adriatic. It is surrounded by olive trees, pine and cypress trees.

Preko is adorned by the large sandy beach Jaz, which with its ecological Blue Flag is a true example of the clean Croatian Adriatic Sea. For history lovers, in this place there is a small Romanesque church of St. John from the 11th century and the early Christian church of Our Lady of the Rosary.

Galevac is a small islet located off the coast of the island of Ugljan, to which you can swim as it is only 80 meters from Preko. On the island is the church of St. Paul and the Franciscan monastery of St. Pavle Pustinjak, which served as a hospital in the 17th century.

3 stops: Ošljak, Preko i Galevac (Školjić)

The tour begins on the waterfront right next to Greeting to the sun installation, where a taxi boat will be waiting for you. The boat departs starting at 9 a.m. and then every hour.The places you will have the opportunity to visit are the island of Ošljak, Preko and Galevac. Firt you will drive 15 min to the island of Ošljak, where your first stop is. On Ošljak you have 2 hour of free time during which you will have the opportunity to enjoy the clear sea and peace, and in addition to swimming, you can enjoy walking and visiting historical sights or the beauty of nature. After sightseeing in Ošljak, you will depart for next top which is in Preko, where you will have 2 hours of free time. Preko is a place on the island of Ugljan and is located not far from Ošljak. If you are interested in the history of the island, in Preko you have the opportunity to visit the Romanesque church of St. John from the 11th century and the early Christian church of Our Lady of the Rosary, and you can also rest on Jaz beach, which won the blue flag for exceptionally clean sea in Croatia.  You will also have the opportunity to visit the small island of Galevac, which is only 80 meters away from Preko. At the end of the tour, you will board the boat and return to Zadar.

The excursion provides you with quick taxi transportation to the islands of Ošljak, Preko and Galevac and you decide how you will spend your time on the islands.
