You will sail through the canyon of Zrmanja and swim under the waterfall, without the presence of other, unknown guests on the boat. SIGHTS AND ATTRACTIONS:
River Zrmanja is one of the most beautiful rivers in Croatia since it flows through karst landscape of Nature park Velebit. After 69 km Zrmanja flows into the sea, not far from the city of Obrovac. Zrmanja is well known for its beautiful canyons and the most famous and impressive one is the one between Obrovac and just before the river flows into the Novigrad Sea. This canyon is characterized by 200 m high cliffs that rise above the river and protected as natural geomorphological monument.

Jankovića buk is the last waterfall on the river Zrmanja. It can be reached by boat through the Zrmanja canyon and it is a famous picnic and swimming location. The remains of the former water mills reveal the once important mill tradition on this waterfall. Those water mills are tourist attraction even though they are not renovated.

Private boat tour starts in Novigrad, a small picturesque town near Zadar. This town is situated under the remains of a Medieval fortress dating to the 13th century. The fort is located on a hill above the town and offers a beautiful panorama of the Novigrad Sea and the magnificent mountain Velebit.
The boarding starts at 9:30 and then follows a boat ride through the Novigrad Sea. The Novigrad Sea is a sea bay where Zrmanja river flows in.
After entering the canyon of this beautiful emerald green river, you will drive a 12-kilometer route to the town of Obrovac. All the way you will be surrounded by 200 m high cliffs, so you will be able to enjoy the unique views of this karst landscape but also see the remains of some historical fortifications.
After passing through Obrovac you will reach our final destination, the last waterfall on the river Zrmanja, Jankovića buk, where you will have a break for swimming at the waterfall. Refresh yourself by swimming in the river and after that you will ride back through the canyon and the Novigrad Sea. There you will have one more stop for swimming in a small bay. After that you will continue the boat ride to Novigrad where this tour ends.
