We are taking you on a trip that will offer you a unique combination of history and untouched nature. Explore abandoned prison ruins with us, swim in the crystal clear sea and enjoy spectacular landscapes.

ABOUT DESTINATION:

Goli Otok is known as a former political prison from 1949. to 1988. for political prisoners of the former Yugoslavia. It was the strictest prison where prisoners worked in difficult conditions and underwent harsh punishments. It was finally closed in 1988., and today it is abandoned, but it still exudes its difficult past. Today, visitors can explore the ruins of the prison buildings, cells and factories and get a fascinating insight into the darker side of the island’s history.

Zavratnica is one of the most beautiful bays in all of the Adriatic, located at the foot of Velebit.

The tour departs from the port in Vinjerac at 9 am. Departures are also possible from Starigrad and Ražanac. This is followed by a sail to Goli Otok, where a guide will tell you about the history of the island. This is followed by a visit to the ruins of prison buildings, cells and factory plants. You will hear interesting stories that will allow you to get to know the darker side of the island. After visiting the penitentiary, the sailing continues to Zavratnica, a spectacular bay reminiscent of the Norwegian fjords. Zavratnica Bay is 900 meters long and is a protected natural beauty with turquoise sea and steep cliffs rising above the coast. Zavratnica is part of the Velebit Nature Park, and thanks to its untouched nature and peaceful atmosphere, it is an ideal place to relax. The crystal clear water is ideal for swimming and diving, and the sunken wreck of a German ship from World War II is a perfect attraction for divers. After visiting Zavratnica, the sailing continues to Pag, where there is a break for swimming. After swimming, the return to Vinjerac and the end of the tour.
