Plitvice lakes National park is the oldest and biggest national park in Croatia. Because of its beauties it was declared as a national park back in 1949. These same beauties were recognized by the UNESCO who added the Plitvice 1979. to the World Heritage list. The National park is made of 16 bigger and smaller lakes filled with crystal clear turquoise green water. One of the basic feature of the park are the tufa barriers that where growing for about 1000 years. The nature beauties of the lakes, rich flora and fauna, the fresh mountain air, forest paths, and small wooden bridges is that what makes the park worth seeing.

Departure from Zadar to Plitvice lakes at 7:45 from the meeting point in the old town. The ride to Plitvice lakes with air conditioned vehicle. Within the arrival starts the 3 hour sightseeing of the world famous National park. In addition to walking along the forest paths, the excursion also includes a ride on an electric boat on the largest lake, Kozjak, which is also the deepest. The entire area of the park is surrounded by forest, so many animals have found their habitat here. After the sightseeing, you will have free time to independently explore the beautiful nature and enjoy the sounds created by numerous waterfalls.
After using your free time, you will return to Zadar, where the trip ends.
