The half-day tour is ideal for guests who want to visit the beautiful nature and waterfalls of the Krka National Park in just 6 hours, and the meeting with the guide is near the cruise ship disembarkation. ABOUT DESTINATION:

Krka National park is situated near historical city of Šibenik. Krka river flows through the canyon and after 75 km, close to Šibenik, flows into the sea. Within national park you will find beautiful waterfalls, lakes, remains of the Roman aqueduct, military camp and Medieval fortresses from 14th century. Krka is declared national park in 1985 and some of the most famous waterfalls are: Skardinski buk, Roški slap, Bilišića buk, Brljanski slap, Manojlovac and Miljacka. At the foot of the Skradinski buk waterfall is second oldest hydro power plant built in the world built just 2 days after the one in Niagara waterfalls in 1985.

Departure from Zadar at around 08:00. This is followed by a drive to the Krka National Park, during which you will hear interesting information and stories about the county you are traveling to from your guide. After arriving at the Krka National Park, the tour begins from Skradin towards Skradinski buk. The guide will teach you about the history, facts and interesting facts of the Krka National Park. When visiting the Krka National Park, you will have the opportunity to see the unreal beauty of the landscape and waterfalls, water mills on the Krka River and the former hydroelectric power plant. After visiting the park, a drive to Zadar follows. The trip ends around 14:00.

DIFFICULTY: easy walking tour through national park but there is lot of stairs so this tour is not recommended for people that have physical impairments

WHAT TO BRING: comfortable shoes, layered clothes, sun cream during summer, rain coat in case of rain, ID, mobile phone, local currency money

NOTE:
The tour is planned for smaller groups and most often the transportation will be with a van, and in case more than 8 people are registered for the trip, the transfer will be with a minibus
At least 4 people must be registered for the excursion.
In case that the entrance to the park with a boat is not possible, the entrance will be from the Lozovac locality.
In special cases, when the crowd in the park does not allow access to boarding the boat, the boat ride is not possible.
