On this half-day excursion along the coast of the island of Pag, you will have the opportunity to see the natural beauty of the spectacular relief characteristic for the island of Pag, which is often called the “Moon Relief”.

ABOUT THE DESTINATION:

The island of Pag has the most with relief developed coast of all the croatian islands, which means that it has many hidden coves and beaches, and many of them can only be reached by boat.

The island of Pag, apart from the famous Pag lace and the delicious Pag cheese is famous for the rocky landscape that reminds us of the surface of the moon, often called the “Moon surface”, “Sahara” and “Mars”.

TRIP PLAN:

DEPARTURE: 9:30 am and 2:00 pm

RETURN: 1:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m

3 stops: bay Veli Zaton, Pag cave, Slana bay

A half-day boat excursion along the landscape of the phenomenal coast of the island of Pag on the wooden motor boat “Jug” which dates back to the early 1900s. The specific landscape of that part of the island of Pag is called “Moon Relief”, “Mars” and “Sahara”, and these locations were often by filmmakers.

The start of the morning half-day excursion is at 09:30 from the Pag port, and the afternoon tour starts at 2:00 p.m. The trip lasts 4.5 hours.

The excursion begins with a boat ride along the coast of Pag next to the western side of the bay towards the natural passage called “The gate of Pag”. After the first 30-minute panoramic drive right next to the coast of the island, we stop in the “Veli Zaton” bay, from where you can enjoy in the view of the majestic Velebit mountain. Here you can use the time for swimming, jumping into the sea and diving. After the swim break we the drive to the other side of the Paška vrata sea passage, where we reach the Paška cave. Our boat guide will take you through the 30m long cave.

After the cave, we go to the Slana bay, where you can have fun on the adrenaline training ground “Via Ferrata” and use the time for swimming.

This is followed by a panoramic tour of Pag’s most popular beach, Beritnica”.

At the end, we sail in a happy atmosphere back to Pag’s Riva.

The excursion includes a welcome aperitif; homemade Pag brandy, cold drinks (juices and water) and snacks.

09:30 - Start of the trip from port of Pag

09:30 Departure from the waterfront in the city of Pag, welcome drink – aperitif: the local brandy of the island Pag. Guests have the opportunity to see the lighthouse and the ruins of the island's oldest church, St. Nicholas, the patron saint of sailors.

10:00 - 10:30 Veli Zaton swimming stop

First swimming stop at Veli Zaton bay. Here you can also snorkel and jump from the boat at the crystal clear water

10:30 -10:45 Travel to the cave of Pag, sightseeing and swim stop

The 30m long spectacular cave you can visit accompanied by our boat staff. The interesting thing about visiting the cave is that in one part of the cave you can walk but the other one you need to swimm in.
