Two islands Ugljan and Pašman self guided bike tour starts in Zadar old town, in the agency office where you will pick up the bike and route map. Our friendly representative will provide you with detailed instructions on how to get to the islands and suggested cycling route.
You will take a ferry in Gaženica port in Zadar and after 25-min ride you will be in Preko, seaside place and administrative center of Ugljan island.
You will cycle to Kali, a place with long fishing tradition where you will see moored fishing boats, piles of fishing nets and attractive traditional stone houses. Sit on a terrace right next to a sea and enjoy refreshing drink as you watch Zadar that lays across the channel. You will continue cycling through pinewoods and macadam road to reach Kukljica. It is another village situated on Ugljan island with beautiful sandy beaches. After visiting Kukljica you will continue cycling to Ždrelac that is often referred as “the gateway of Telašćica park and Kornati national park”. It is a sea passage with a 210 m long bridge that connects two islands: Ugljan and Pašman.
You will continue cycling through picturesque villages of Pašman island to discover hidden cultural landmarks, many beautiful coves with pebbled, sandy or paved beaches where you can stop to take a swim in crystal clear sea.
Once you reach Pašman village you can stop in a local shop that sells certified organic products made on the island.
Another thing worth visiting is Ćokovac monastery, situated on a hill (95 m) and the first thing you will notice when visiting is the magnificent view of the surrounding sea, islets and island Pašman. Besides nature, you will enjoy the architecture and story about its turbulent history.
After that you will cycle back to Preko and take a ferry to return to Zadar where this tour ends.
