SIGHTS AND ATTRACTIONS:
Dugi otok: It justifies its name with a length of about 45 km of great diversity and contrast. The south-eastern part of the island, located in the Nature Park Telašćica, is mostly steep and dominated by beautiful cliffs, while the north-western part of the island offers quiet coves and the sandy beach. Sakarun Beach has been declared a significant Croatian landscape. In the immediate vicinity of Brbinjšćica Bay is the magnificent Golubinka Cave. The pebble beach Veli žal enchants with its vibrant turquoise sea and white pebbles.
Veli Rat is the tallest lighthouse on the Adriatic (42 m). According to legend, 100,000 egg yolks were used to paint its impressive yellow facade.
The underwater military tunnel is 70 m long and served as a military port and a hideout for submarines.

In the morning, the boat departs from the port of Foša towards the Telašćica Nature Park. Explore the high cliffs, panoramic views of the sea and the salty Lake Mir, known for its healing properties. The next stop is at the Golubinka cave, where you will enjoy swimming in a hidden beach and the sun’s rays that reach through the cave’s openings. Inside, a secret beach awaits you – an untouched paradise hidden from the world. Next stop is Veli Žal Beach, a blue lagoon with crystal clear waters and smooth pebbles that can only be reached by boat. It is ideal for a refreshing swim or relaxing in the sun, away from the crowds. Continue sailing to the sandy beach of Sakarun. You can swim in the turquoise shallows, have a drink at the beach bar or join in the game of Picigina as the locals do. After a visit to Sakarun Beach, there is a dive to the legendary wreck of the Michelle, an Italian cargo ship that sank in 1984. It is located below the surface and teeming with marine life, and is every diver’s dream and a window into the past. Next, sail to the pine-shaded Sušica Bay on the way to the highest lighthouse on the Adriatic. You can climb to the top for a panoramic view, followed by a break for lunch at a nearby seaside restaurant or use the break for activities of your choice. After a break, you will sail to a 70-meter-long military tunnel that seems to be carved into the island’s cliffs. At the end of the tour you will enjoy a fascinating view of the old town of Zadar from the sea and experience the most famous attraction – the Sea Organ – in a completely different way.
