1st day: Quad safari Vrana lake – lunch at Maškovića han

TEAM BUILDING in Zadar for 20 people
PROGRAM:

– Trip to our starting destination, Biograd
– First encounter with the guides and instructions for safe quad biking
– Quad biking through the nature park Vrana lake
– A tour of Maškovića han and lunch at their restaurant
– Standing on the viewpoint of Kamenjak
– The trip ends with the return to our starting point

Maškovića han is of significant cultural and historical importance. It dates back to the 17th century and lies near the Vrana lake. It is known as the westernmost building of Islamic architecture in Europe. Jusuf Mašković was a high dignitary at the Turkish court and an admiral of the Turkish fleet. He started construction of the complex that was meant to serve as his personal summer residence and an inn. The historical complex was renovated and repurposed into a heritage hotel and restaurant with a specific ambience in mind.

Itinerary

Quad safari Vrana Lake- Lunch at Maškovića han

The guide will meet you in Biograd and you will receive equipment and instructions on how to drive safely.You will enjoy an exciting quad bike ride on field roads through the unique Dalmatian landscape and villages around Lake Vrana. During the excursion, there will be 5 to 6 stops so that you can walk, explore the nature on your own and take photos from some beautiful viewpoints. You will see the ruins of the old town of Vrana and the fortress of the Knights Templar. You will continue driving on a field road to the Pećine cave, where the spring of the stream is located. We proceed with a short drive to Mašković han, the 17th century residence of the supreme admiral of the Turkish fleet. The complex also has a restaurant where lunch will be served. This is followed by a ride along the lake to the most attractive point, the Kamenjak viewpoint. This is followed by a drive along the field roads to the port of Prosika, which is located at the southernmost end of the park. You will drive partly on an asphalted road and partly on field roads along the lake to the Ornithological Reserve. There you can walk along a wooden path through the swampland and observe numerous birds. After that, we will be driving along the forest path all the way to Biograd. This excursion ends with our return to Biograd.
