In a one-day school trip to Omiš, Radmanovo Milinice and Trogir, you will visit the old city center of Trogir, which is under UNESCO protection. You will sail by boat through the canyon of the Cetina River from Omiš to Radman’s mills, a 19th-century estate that has been converted into a picnic area. You will see a stone mill cart, a sundial and a trout pool.
You will walk through Omiš, which was once a pirate town, and today is a real little gem on the river with the Mirabela fortress located on the hill above the old town.

TRIP PLAN:

Omiš – Radmanove mlinice – Trogir

Departure in the morning from the agreed place. Driving in a modern tourist bus accompanied by a licensed guide. During the drive, stop at a rest area for a short break. Continue driving towards Trogir, the first location you will visit.
Trogir is located in a sea strait between the mainland and the island of Čiovo. You will visit the Trogir Cathedral, one of the most beautiful in Croatia. It is known for Radman’s portal, built in 1340, which is decorated with Adam and Eve, lions, apostles, saints and symbolic representations of the months of the year.
Opposite the cathedral, you will see the town lodge, which was used as a public courtroom, and you will walk along the waterfront to the Kamerlengo fortress, a magnificent building from the 15th century that was built to protect against Turkish attacks.
After the tour of Trogir, you will drive to Omiš. In Omiš, you will take a 45-minute boat ride to the Radman mills through the Cetina canyon.
Radman’s mills are located in the very heart of the canyon and arranged as a restaurant-excursion where the fresh air is topped by tall trees. You will see a stone mill wheel and a sundial, trout in the pool and feel the rural spirit of the past, because the property has been owned by the Radman family since the 19th century.
Lunch will be served in the restaurant on the property.
After lunch, a bus ride to Omiš, which was known as a pirate town in the Middle Ages. A walk through the old town where you will visit the most popular sights (Mirabella and Fortica). The House of the Happy Man is also interesting, above the entrance door there is a Latin inscription about gratitude for life (“I thank you, Lord, that I was in this world”), so it is a good place to take photos.
After sightseeing, free time for souvenir shopping.
At the end of the free time, there is a ride back. Arrival at the place of departure in the evening.

Departure to Trogir in the morning from the agreed place (in front of the school, from the parking lot).

A visit to Trogir, a city of outstanding, well-preserved historical architecture and art, due to which the entire city was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Tour of the Cathedral of St. The Louvre with Radovan's portal, the City Hall, the noble Čipiko palace from the 15th century, the Kamerlengo Tower and the old town where the ancient Greeks, Romans and Venetians left their influences.

Boat ride from Omiš to Radman's mills through the Cetina canyon lasting 45 minutes. A panoramic boat ride in the shadow of high mountains and centuries-old trees on crystal clear water where numerous fish and wild ducks swim that will delight children.

Arrival at Radman's mills, a 19th-century estate. Trout swim in the pool on the property, and you can also see a dovecote, a sundial on the gable of the house and an old plane tree in the garden. Next to the restaurant there is a sports field and a children's playground (use of the children's playground, basketball and chess in nature is included in the price of the trip).
Lunch in the restaurant: chicken fillet (breaded or grilled), fries, ketchup, fritters and juice 0.2 dcl.

After lunch and free time in Radmanov Mlinice, there is a return by bus to Omiš.
Arrival in Omiš and 1 hour of free time for city sightseeing. Visit the parish church of St. Michael's Church (beginning of the 17th century) with a bell tower that has valuable sacral elements and a luxurious stone portal. Discover the "House of the Happy Man" and the column of shame located in the square by the river Cetina. The coat of arms of the Venetian providor is attached to the plinth, and it has most likely been there since the 17th century. Above the old town itself is the Mirabela fort, which was used by old pirates as a lookout from which they watched over the Brač channel, and today it is one of the most famous landmarks in Omiš.
After sightseeing in Omiš, return to the bus and drive back.

The trip ends with a return trip in the evening.
