[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Sakarun is one of the most famous beaches in Zadar region and\u00a0Croatia’s absolute gem. It is situated on a northwest\u00a0tip of Dugi otok island\u00a0that is last in the line\u00a0of all Zadar’s islands.\u00a0Dugi otok literally means \u2018long island\u2019 and it is indeed the largest among the islands located in this part of Dalmatia,\u00a044,5 km long and just 4,8 km wide. Villages that are close to the beach are Soline, Bo\u017eava and Veli Rat.<\/p>\n

The bay is\u00a0wide enough so that people can spread over its length without hassle. At 250 m from the coast the sea is only 3,5 m. Its shallow waters are ideal for kids to play. Little ones can splash around and build sand castles.<\/p>\n
